Happy New Year 2026!
How are you feeling stepping into this new year?
What’s been on your mind?
I personally love a fresh start. Whether it’s a new day or a new year, I appreciate the chance to reset and begin again if I need to, and more often than not, I do. Because I’m human. And this life can be tough sometimes.
So I wanted to share a bit of what I’ve been working through as part of that reset for myself. Nothing rigid. Nothing extreme. More of an overall vibe than anything else.
First, I’ve been reflecting on 2025. All that went right. All that went well. And don’t tell me nothing went well, because there is always something. Making a list of what worked, what felt good, what I’m grateful for. That alone shifts everything.
Then I asked myself, if last year were a chapter in a book, what would I call it?
At first I thought The Dark Side or The Underworld 😅
But honestly, probably something like Reality Check.
Not to judge it. Not to beat myself up. Just to get a sense of where I’ve been.
Because everything we see in our lives right now is a result of all the yesterdays that led us here. Can we look at that without judgment? Just as information. As a map. A lay of the land.
Once I had that clarity, I started looking ahead.
This is always my favorite part.
But something I’ve come to understand is that in order for something new to begin, something often has to end. Or at least soften. Or fall away.
That reflection helps me notice where I might be holding myself back. Again, not from a place of self-judgment, but from a place of support. From wanting to move forward more honestly.
I’ve also realized that I’m not great with rigid goals. Goals tend to make me rebel. I know, coming from a life coach, ironic.
So instead of hard goals, I’m feeling into the energy.
What do I sense?
What do I want more of?
What feels true?
And then I name it.
If this season were a chapter, what would I call it?
For me, it feels like a pivotal integration. A time of bringing forward only the best of what I’ve gathered so far and letting the rest go. It feels like meeting what was dark last year with an equal amount of light. Both exist, and we get to choose. I choose to bring the light.
That’s leading me to some very intentional actions:
-
Tying up loose ends
-
Letting projects, habits, and commitments fall away if they no longer feel aligned
-
Clearing space, both physically and energetically
-
Deciding what’s actually worth carrying forward
I’m also writing down my top five life priorities again.
This feels important. If we don’t know what matters most to us, how do we know where we are on the map?
This is your North Star. Your center. Your come from.
Not the version you think you should say, but what actually matters to your heart.
For me, health will always be at the top of the list. I see it as the bridge to everything else. Longevity. Presence. Clarity. Being able to hold love and light in a body that feels well.
Another part of this moment for me is prayer.
Or if prayer doesn’t resonate for you, intention. Vision. Heart desire.
I pray for humanity.
For animals.
For the planet.
For clarity.
For suffering to soften and eventually stop.
And I don’t believe we should give up on our heart’s desires. The collective power of envisioning a world we want to live in, and want our children to live in, really matters.
So I hope this feels supportive as you step into this new year.
I’ll be sharing some healthy living, supportive group opportunities soon. Let’s get healthy together.
Thanks for being here.
Happy New Year 🤍
